"I've had this record since college. It's haunted me since the first time I heard it. Holger Czukay, an experimental German keyboardist and composer created it weaving shortwave broadcasts with the voice of an Iranian singer and his synthesizer.

When we were applying for funding for Lost & Found Sound we included Persian Love at the back of the sample tape - the rhythm, the layers, the voices like messages in a bottle made for great "music to fund radio to..." When we were designing the sonic signature for the series with Randy Thom of Skywalker Films we played it again to put us in the right frame of mind."
