In our quest to find Sam's Memphis Recording Service remote recordings and WHER airchecks we held an event at Sun Studios and asked the public to search their closets and attics. And they did. Glenn Rutherford brought in a disc he made in 1953, an audition disc of "Ave Marie", in a glass case on the wall
 of Sun Studios we found a recording Sam made of Hilard Smith's funeral on Dec. 5, 1951, and WHER radio announcer and disc jockey Becky Phillips found boxes of reels in her basement. Listen to what she found.
